Brief C.V. to 1975

 

 

Roland Bugnon, born on 29th January, 1939, in Fribourg, Switzerland; between 1954 and 1959 trained as photo retoucher, attending the School of Applied Arts, Bern.

In 1959 he obtained the Alice Bailly Award.

 

After moving to Lucerne in 1961, Roland Bugnon started his career as a painter. In 1963 he was awarded a scholarship by the Kiefer Hablitzel Foundation, Lucerne.

 

In 1968/1969 Roland Bugnon produced his first etchings and lithographs at the Atelier Georges Visat, Paris.

 

Roland Bugnon lives in Ibiza and Switzerland.
